.Forecast Summary...A weak disturbance will combine with mid level moisture to produce considerable cloud cover today. There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through this evening. Very light precipitation is expected with this activity. If thunderstorms do develop, the main threats will be lightning and locally strong winds. This activity will also favor the mesas. High pressure will build over the weekend providing dry and seasonably warm temperatures. Looking ahead to next week, a late season system could bring gusty winds and cooler temperatures mid-week
