.Forecast Summary...Generally quiet weather expected through tomorrow. A cold area of low pressure will approach from the north tomorrow night pushing a cold front through the site early Thursday morning. It will be accompanied by light precipitation and gusty northerly winds. The snow level will be near 4000 feet with light accumulations possible above that. This will include the valleys north of Area 6. Thursday will be windy and cool as the system continues south away from our area. Winds will subside Thursday evening setting the stage for a cold night. Morning lows on Friday will be near to below freezing for most of the site. High pressure will then build over the west this weekend promoting a warming trend under mostly sunny skies. Snowfall totals for Thursday morning: Trace to 1" above 4000 feet.

.Tonight...Mostly clear. Northeast winds 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures 27 to 34 on the mesas, 30 to 35 on the dry lakes, 33 to 40 at the lower elevations, 39 at Mercury.

.Wednesday...Partly cloudy. Northeast winds 5 to 15 mph in the morning becoming southwest 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon. High temperatures 37 to 44 on the mesas, 50 to 57 at the lower elevations, 54 at Mercury.

.Wednesday Night...Increasing clouds with scattered showers after midnight. Snow level 4000 feet. West winds 5 to 15 mph in the evening becoming northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph after midnight. Low temperatures 23 to 30 on the mesas, 35 to 40 on the dry lakes, 33 to 40 at the lower elevations, 37 at Mercury.

.Thursday...Partly cloudy with isolated morning showers. Snow level 4000 feet. Windy with northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. High temperatures 30 to 37 on the mesas, 44 to 51 at the lower elevations, 47 at Mercury.

.Friday...Mostly sunny. Northeast winds 15 to 30 mph. Low temperatures 17 to 24 on the mesas, 25 to 30 on the dry lakes, 25 to 32 at the lower elevations, 30 at Mercury. High temperatures 33 to 40 on the mesas, 45 to 52 at the lower elevations, 49 at Mercury.
